The Meaning Behind Ihyaa Inn's Name
IHYAA (Revival) Inn was named to highlight its crucial role in reviving the historic Al-Aqar neighborhood, a once-neglected area that had suffered from social decline. This project has brought new life to the district by restoring its traditional landmarks and transforming it into a vibrant cultural and tourist destination that seamlessly blends heritage with modernity.
History of the inn
The lodge consists of a collection of heritage houses, featuring more than 30 diverse rooms cater to all segments of society accommodating a wide range of visitors. In the past, it served as a residence for statesmen, politicians, scholars, and merchants, with a history spanning hundreds of years. It also served as a hub for knowledge, religion, politics, and social gatherings, attracting scholars, jurists, and sheikhs who played a significant role in Omani history.
Location
It is just a two-minute walk from Nizwa Fort, Nizwa Central Market and Al Agar Wall & Square. The inn is also only a minute away from the Second oldest mosques, which dates back 1,400 years.

Upon collection of the car a security deposit will be blocked on the driver’s credit card. This deposit is determined by supplier considering the applicable excess amount and selected car category. Please be informed that the value of the applicable excess, one tank of fuel and possible traffic fines can be additionally blocked on your credit card.
